Didn't like this cup anyway

What a second half.

Man Utd came out with all guns blazing, Wolves came roaring back, Jarvis was unstoppable and in the end it was decided by a Little Pea.

Once again, Wolves put in an impressive performance that shows we are here to play and compete with the big sides. There were moments of misfortune, which shifted the game in United's favour but we didn't let our heads go down. Expect a good performance again on Saturday.

Surely someone has told Capello about Jarvis' performance last night? Against two ex England internationals with years of experience he ran riot. He set up four or five good chances that we should have converted. On Saturday, when we get these chances we need to be a bit more clinical. Even if we did score two goals.

Another Italian who should be watching our games is Giovanni Trapattoni. Our second best player, by quite some distance too, was Kevin Foley. He showed all the class required to play teams at the top end of the table, and if he keeps playing like this will be spotted by someone. He get's himself into some great positions, and despite not possessing any pace or power always causes trouble in the other teams area.

Hunt wasn't quite there today. He made some sloppy passes, and at times lost concentration. The impact he is going to have is there too see. He's an infectious player and once properly fit will boost us. Fletcher too was sloppy on the ball. He got himself into some great positions yet, unlike him, he couldn't keep his cool. Up front with him, I was impressed by Ebanks-Blake. Sharp, hardworking and creative and words most Wolves fans would use to describe him but he will be in Mick's good books after that performance.

Hennessey - 7

Foley - 9
Mouyokolo - 7
Berra - 7
Elokobi - 7

Jarvis - 9
Mancienne - 7
Jones - 7
Hunt - 6

Fletcher - 6
Ebanks-Blake - 7

On to City. I see no reason why we can't give them a game. Especially if Jarvis plays like that.

wasn't a impressive performance, tt was a negative one. We never played till they scored amd why didn't he play Milijas. Jones again is light weight and our strikers didn't get one shot on goal. Take note it was 2 defenders that scored and we never play the same team twice. Man u were there for the taking but when i saw Mancienne instead of Milijas, we could all see his team plan again.
Mick has done well for us but i think this is as far as we can go with him. Let's get a new guy in before it's too late, weve spent 18 mill again this term yet we still play like a Champtionship team.

  3. I know and to take your best player off was a joke and Bent should never play for us again.

  4. I thought the first half was instantly forgetable for both sides, few chances created. Wolves played very negatively for large periods of the game, often just passing it between defenders to retain posession, which I found constantly frustrating, as we matched them on the pitch and should have been a little more creative. Jarvis and Foley looked really good in the second half but they didn't really do much in the first, I would say 8/10 would be more warranted. I did like how we won the majority of headers throughout but we couldn't really capitalise on this because of sloppy passing, admitly though down to a very wet pitch in which every player had a small degree of trouble with. Overall we missed Milijas with his passing ability which would have changed the game i'm sure.

  5. He took of our best player, because jarvo had felt a twinge and signalled to the bench. Otherwise he wouldn't have taken hi moff. Both times I've seen bent I've been impressed. He has some sort of urgency and uis a decent player.

  6. The league is more important than cup you doughnut. Milijas barely plays 90 minutes a week so he HAD to be rested. Jones played well, he had plenty of the ball and was positive.

    Lighten up

  7. and this is why we always end up playing long ball. because when we try to keep the ball our fans call it playing negatively. Especially at home the frustration spreads until instead of working to retain possession like every other sensible progressive side we end up hoofing it forward to satisfy the 50s faithful. Stan Cullis is not the manager anymore. we don't have Bully to boot it up to either. We need to move on and join the 21st century. Mick needs to stick to his guns and keep ignoring the vocal minority. We have the basis of a good side and Jarvis is positively flying. Only a Wolves fan looking for Mick's head could possible say that last night's performance wasn't impressive. Sir Alex disagreed for one

  8. Really, well the others are doing a great job aye they. At least a cup run would have been something to shout about.
We're a joke, Mick has spent ove 18 million this season, in fact over 30 Mill in 2 seasons and our best players are jarvis and foely. No wonder Milijas and van dame want to go back home and who can blame them, as they are not one of his favourites and i hear Ward is in goal for us Sat.lol
If you're happy with this rubbish pea brain that's up to you, but its goin to be along season at the bottom of the Prem.
Can't wait for the Man city game..Huh

Bent and Jones were terrible last night.
Bent you say is good, well compared to who?? Keogh....

  12. Tell me exactly in that five minutes you saw anything crap? All I saw him do is make a brilliant run to stay onside and another that Fletcher messed up to put him through (fletch took too long and bent was offside)

Jarvis was taken off as a precaution, it;'s obvious.

  13. What?!

We have a good young squad. We've been unlucky this season and you just want something to moan about.

Hunt is back, Mouyololo looks class. Stearman has come on well i nthe centre back role and Jarvis is in the form of his life. When we escape this run of games we will start winning games and the hypocrite fans (like yourself) will be talking about how 'we knew mick could do it'.

  14. Bent played five minutes, and had one shot on target. What are you on about? Jones was fine, sometimes sloppy (notice everyone slipping over?) but he is a good player who is comfortable on the ball

  15. Martin O'Neill!!!! That really is self delusion bordering on psychosis. In your dreams

yea a precaution incase he scored and we actually won a game..
Bents had more clubs than a pack of cards, says it all.

  21. would you rather him get injured, and a small possibility that we win or have him fit for saturday? I know which one I would rather have.

  22. Our strike force currently has 7 goals between them, all of them have been injured or dropped (SEB, for no reason) and have scored those goals in limited games! We have three top class strikers! Stop moaning for goodness sake!

  23. that's right, he 'soon made a runner' after 2 consecutive top 6 finishes. when was the last time your 'big club' was in the top 6? About 30 years ago I reckon
