How good would a win at St James Park feel come Saturday evening?
It would probably see us go out of the relegation places, drag Newcastle into the relegation battle and two fingers up to those poor fragile sensitive Newcastle souls who were so upset after our game at Molineux.
Match of the Day's editing that night affected our season for a while after they highlighted strong tackles on Barton. The period where we were labelled dirty produced our worst period of form but we are pulling ourselves out of it now. Look at the fair play league and decide for yourselves who the dirtier team is.
I do however think that that saga will be our advantage tomorrow. We have nothing to lose, but Newcastle are in a dangerous position with one win in ten and very likely to play in an aggressive nature. Hopefully, they will be more intent on kicking our players instead of using their talented players. Barton and Nolan in particular have been impressive this season, as much as I dislike them although recently Barton's excellent crossing ability has been of little use since the departure of £35 million man Andy Carroll.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is set to start tomorrow, and although the loss of Kevin Doyle is huge I'm confident that Sylvan can produce the goods. He may not be as clever, or as good at holding the ball up but he is a top class finisher and he will get in good positions. Doyle does a massive amount of work outside the box, though sometimes we need someone to get in the box and Sylvan can do this.
With a trio of Henry, O'Hara and Milijas up against a likely two man midfield for Newcastle, I can see us winning the midfield battle and ultimately the game.
2-1 Wolves, our number nine with a brace.
If you are going, have a great time and roar on the lads.
3-1 to Newcastle and wolves to finish with 10 men the joker mickey mouse and his croneys will be sent home with nothing but bruises and damaged egos ! out-played out-fought out-classed TOON ARMY !!!
ReplyDeletewolves are loser
ReplyDeleteyou scummy prick what a load of shit you lads have no class or quality easy 3-0 win for the toon!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWolves to win 4-0 just to stuff it to them lot for not noticing that we can play with flair and skill and not realising that their an even dirtier team than they think we are. UTW.
ReplyDeletegood to see the newcastle fans sinking to the same level as their team. and let's hope your position in the fair play league is where you finish in the league. 2-0 wolves. SEB and Jarvis.
ReplyDeleteRemember that joey barton interview after the arsenal game when he whined about Diaby's response to his assault 'I just can't understand why he reacted like that'. Maybe someone should show him the footage of pederson brushing past him before his ludicrously over the top reaction. Like the rest of his cowardly team mates, he can dish it out but he can't take it. Karl and Jamie must be quaking in their boots. Not.
ReplyDeletedraw the morra.. Wolves and the toon to stay up, the Villa (I pity the bed sheet brigade) to gan doon!
ReplyDeleteall wolves are plonkers, barton to score first goal, the toon have what wolves don't CLASS,you are just a loa4d of journeymen.
ReplyDeleteI'm putting my money on a sending off - maybe 2! I'd gladly let Wolves have share the points if it meant Villa getting sucked into a relegation battle they won't get out of - that's all their fans deserve.
ReplyDeleteShut the fuck up you stupid cunt. Wolves would live to be a team like Newcastle with the best fans in the world so less the chirping
ReplyDeleteThe best odds on Wolves to get a win tomorrow are 3/1 (let's be honest, the bookies aren't often wrong). The problem for both teams tomorrow will be scoring goals. Does either team have a match fit half decent striker (the predictions are ridiculous on this site)? The game tomorrow will be scrappy and lacking any real quality in the final third. From my understanding Wolves create chances but can't put them away, and Newcastle have lacked a creative midfielder for years (that problem was masked with Carroll at the club, but long balls picking-up on the scraps is no longer an option). Could be a dull game tomorrow, decided on a defensive lapse.
ReplyDeleteWolves.....more like basset hounds ! Easy win for Newcastle.
ReplyDelete-Wolves will still stay up though, there are , believe it or not, teams that are far worse !!!
Wolves Dirty Joke Of A Team HA!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to welcoming Wolves fans for a beer before and after the game in the Toon, but hope they leave with nowt!
ReplyDeleteHope your crying now after we hammered you. Can't wait for you to be relegated thug team and thug fans.
ReplyDelete4.1 ha ha bye bye
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke of a team wolves are key players missing and we still manage to batter them 4-1 lol would be glad to see them go down dirty football can only take you so far and they have more than out stayed there welcome in the premiere league good riddance to a shit club shit fans shit stadium and as the league will show at the end of the season shit players!!!
ReplyDeleteNewcastle should've played the whole of the 2nd half with ten men after their captain's cynical goal stopping foul on Hammill. Long time since I've seen a ref so influenced by the home crowd. Cheating Geordies only know one way to win. Why else sign Barton, Nolan, Smith et al?
ReplyDeleteWhy even come on this blog if you don't like the team?
ReplyDeleteWho knows. Lots of silly comments, very bad winners.
ReplyDeletePoor performance, awful defending and only got going when the game was over. Had Fletcher scored that sitter it could have been different too.
keep spouting your shite mate 4-1 you muppet he he
