Well, some good news and some bad..
We have Michael Mancienne on loan from Chelsea for the year ( he's not allowed to play against them or in the league cup) but Christophe Berra will not be playing against West Ham after picking up a hamstring injury when he came on for Scotland against Norway. It's not looking good for Kevin Doyle either.
It looks like a 4-5-1 (0r 4-3-3) to me for our first game of the season.

I'm quite confident about this team. West Ham look like they will have to play 1 up front with Carlton Cole who looked very impressive on wednesday against the Dutch.
