Wolves v Wigan Preview

This fixture just under a year ago proved to be one of the most miserable of the season. We simply can't afford that to happen again, otherwise we will see the gap we have fought to close will open once again.

Wigan have gone about their business quietly since their opening two games. They got their act together after two harsh beatings. They've picked up the odd point here and there but haven't won too many. Win, and we over take them.

After our impressive display against Birmingham, it would be no surprise to anyone if we went with the same eleven but I've got a feeling Mick will bring in our star man Matty Jarvis. He'll offer us a bit more more pace and creativity. It's hard to see who he would replace. I think the unlucky one to be dropped will be George Elokobi, with Stephen Ward moving back to left back.

This would mean this could be the team:
Jarvis could go straight back in

Hennessey

Zubar
Stearman
Berra
Ward

Hunt
Foley
Edwards
Milijas
Jarvis

Ebanks-Blake

If we are up for it, and attack Wigan from the off I see no reason why we can't win this game. 1-0 Wolves, Ebanks-Blake to get the winner.

If you are going, roar the lads on. Merry Christmas!
