After the first game of the season, I thought it meant they would be pushing for Europe. Even though we had played well, they had done the job and played some good football. Since then it's been mainly downhill. Of course, Dyer got injured and lots of others did but they haven't looked as good as they did on the first day.
they have some very good players. Parker, Upson, Green and Cole could be pushing for an England place, Diamanti has looked world class at times and they've got various other internationals. so why have they had such a below par season. Maybe it is the manager, or the owners at the beginnnig and of course the injuries problems they always seem to have.
We've been playing well in the recent away games. And now we've started to pick up some points with the performances. Hopefully we can make it three unbeaten, we've only done that once this season.
Hahnemann
Zubar
Craddock
Berra
Ward
Foley
Jones
Henry
Guedioura
Jarvis
Doyle
I won't be surprised if we make a couple of changes. Ward might not be fit and he might want to freshen things up in the midfield.
2-1 to the Wolves. Doyle double.
4-3 to the wolves. we will be three down with eight minutes left and make history.
ReplyDelete:D Doyle 4.
FANTASTIC. Best performance for years
ReplyDeleteJones for ENGLAND!
FANTASTIC! What a team! What a centre forward Doyle is! I thought Jones was particularly brilliant tonight. But they all were really. As Doyler said, a couple more wins should be enough. Well done Mr McCarthy!!!
ReplyDeleteLong time since I saw Wolves play that well. Despite the most biased referee ever (and the worst decision of the season) we absolutely played them off the pitch. And the way we kept the ball was such a pleasure to watch. 3 fantastic away results.Incredible. I really believe we might just be gonna do it now.
ReplyDeleteStarting to look like a proper premier league team. Great to see George proving himself deputising for (the obviously carrying an injury) Ward and Mancienne's selection proved an excellent decision. Jarvis's pace has made him a tremendous asset this season and he has been a more than willing helper for Doyle whose ability to occupy a whole defence with his tireless running and incredible ball retention quite frankly beggars belief. But man of ther match by a country mile was the quite superb (and never before wholly convincing - at least not in this manner) Jones who found himself an unmarkable position behind Doyle and continually managed to exploit the hammers hesitancy with guile and purpose. A phenomenal performance which even the most avid Milijas admirers (myself included) could not fault
